Next thing we know, my friend who has just been assaulted, is being dragged to the door and thrown out.

The bouncer then literally lied about what happened, it seemed as though he just wanted an easy life so kicked out the skinny gay dude rather than the idiot knucklehead that was actually causing the harm.
