October is LGBT History Month, and we like to share the love and celebrate our inclusive and diverse town throughout the year!

Rainbow Weekend

The Rainbow Weekend planning committee is working to create a full weekend of activities, entertainment, decorations, makers markets and more. Presented by Summa Health Pride Clinic. Rainbow bridge decorations sponsored by: Flourish Plant Mkt. Hate is such a drag! Attendees will learn about bias, stereotypes, current vocabulary, and best practices for handling gender and sexuality topics with sensitivity.

Hosted upstairs at the Kent Free Library. Each guest will receive a reusable Rainbow Weekend tote bag to collect a myriad of items including rainbow treats, art, swag and gift items to share or keep for themselves. Ticket holders receive half off admission to the Kent State Museum for the weekend!
